Another moronic muslim terrorist. Oh, wait! Not supposed to say that, but then again who else has been trying to bomb airplanes the last 8 years?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now we are going to be forced to sit in our seats with NOTHING - Oh, what happy fun!
Happy Boxing Day!
we are falling into the old cliches
that were always there, but we never knew
or maybe we did and we thought - hoped - love changed words
into something new
and we never felt like hope was thin
or that time was running out
and what's so special about going out
so we stayed in, until what we had turned into cliches;
your manipulations are beginning to wear thin
showing through to what we already knew
and underneath the lies, the truth seemed as if it could all be new
again but all along all we played at was nothing short of the words
almost made true- i'm growing tired of saying the same words
to try and appease you, to give you something out
of my heart when you only want something new
(no surprise there). the games were always part of the cliches
we tried to fool ourselves into believing (but we knew
that the blood in our hearts was already thin
like my love for you is thin)
it is a sliver in my palm, and everytime i close my fist, words
of pain spill out, but the blood is truth you never knew
i carried all this time. i want to hope that saying this out
loud will make it something more than the sum of the cliches
you always secretly thought i was. but you will say, i am nothing new
right now i wish that you could accept me in place of the new
fangled hopes and dreams. so many wishes that have been worn thin
by the time it took you to finally speak to me in more than a cliche,
to find any words
when now i have told you and it is all spilling out
and over into other people's lives when maybe you already knew
what i wanted to say: if all this turned out to be less than what we knew
at the start, love, but actually - all along - it was nothing new
at all. you were playing at loving me and now i am out
out of a job, out of a city, out of love, and thin
when i would much rather be in, in, in, surrounded by your words
that have already again become a cliche.
The city is my lover, feeding me words that are always new.
We always knew I would return here, so it never hurt when I went out
but now the cliche is a thread, unwound, and thin.
a cold front came thur mon. will only last mon. and tues. will warm up in the low 30 wed. but it got me to thinking. i love winter the below zero and the snow. i love it when it snow and it the coldest day of the year on my birtnday. but i know a lot of people hate winter. the cold wind snow and darkess. i love when the sun is out which is funny because i like clounds in the summer. the one things i can do whithout in the winter is the wind. but to make it better for other how about keeping the light up till march 1. u couldnt do it on live tree but otherwise u could. then on the dark cold night wouldnt it help or would u justget use to then u wouldnt see then. also a lot of song arent really christmas but winter song why not play then all winter. it is too bad that there arent any big holiday after new year because that would help. of couse u could alway make my birthday a holiday.lol i do hope everyone ve a hippy holiday and that the winter isnt too bad for u and to all the winter lover hope it a good for u.
i am writing today about the bcs or as i call it the bs. it is wrong to have boise state and tcu play each other. they play last year in what was the best bowl game. i am a boise state fan and all this does is make sure that the little guy dont beat one of the so call big guy. while it will once again be the best game no body will watch it because the so call fan dont want to watch the little guy play. would rather watch a blowout just because it 2 big guy playing. i beleive that the bs ply the fiesta bowl to pick them because we all know it all about money and they will lose money on that game so they ve to of been pay. we need a playoff like they do in all the other divsion. funny they can do it but the big guy cant. and the lower divsion care more about grade than divsion 1do. because of this i will not watch or listern or read about any of the bowl game except fpr boise state and tcu. hopefully it will be as good as last year but this time boise state win. i do believe that tcu is as good as al. or texas. boise state is also as good but in all honesty a smub just a tiny bit below then but would give then a great game.
before people think i am against any heath fix i am not. but to do it all at one time and in a 2074 pages bill, i am against. let take what they r voting on now. medicare, if they can save that much why dont they do it now? of couse they r saving by cutting payment. how many dr. and hospital will refuse medicare if they do that. and if the govt make then by saiding if u get any govt help u much then wont your payment go up? they r going to get the money from somewhere. also why not leave the insurance as it is now and just lower the stanard for mediade. and they said presium will go dpwn but only if u get govt help. so if u make so much or want a good policy u will pay more. and your taxes will go up because they much get the money from somewhere. also when ask people want it but want it only if the rich pay for it. i am lower class but i am tried of people alway wanting to tax the rich. why the angrer at the rich? most of then earn it by working hard and long hour and by being smart enouch to invent something that people want. by taxing then all the time and putting then down u r stopping people from taking chances. we do need health fix but let take it slow and one item at a time. thank u
This is a must see conference for everyone around LA interested in the status quo of computational design techniques and urban design sensibilities. To put it in a Hollywood term: A Blockbuster!
Intensive Fields: New Parametric Techniques for Urbanism
Conference, Harris 101, University of Southern California
12 December 2009
For some time now, digital technologies have had a substantial impact on architectural design. From the use of standard drafting packages to the more experimental use of generative design tools. But how might these digital technologies – and parametric design tools in particular – help us to design cities?
The conference brings together USC Professors Francois Roche, Marc Fornes, Roland Snooks, Qingyun Ma, Neil Leach, Roland Ritter and Anne Balsamo alongside other leading experts from the world of digital technologies, cultural theory and urban design, including Patrik Schumacher, Manuel DeLanda, Tom Kovac, Marcos Novak, Benjamin Bratton, Hernan Diaz Alonso, Elena Manferdini, Casey Reas and Greg Lynn.
